Comparison Flight:

A recent fly off between the MT Propeller and
the OEM TBM 900 propeller has shown the following results:

Better climb performance from 4000 ft to 31000 ft
at max take-off weight at Vy MT-Propeller: 16 minutes and 13 seconds
OEM TBM900 Propeller: 16 minutes and 38 seconds

All speeds in flight level 310
(31000 ft, ISA+5 Conditions)
MT-Propeller: 2000 rpm, 82% torque, 54 gph fuel flow,
TAS: 312 kts,
OEM TBM900 Propeller: 2000 rpm, 82% torque, 54 gph fuel flow,
TAS: 314 kts
MT-Propeller: 2000 rpm, 63% torque, 43 gph fuel flow,
TAS: 280 kts,
OEM TBM900 Propeller: 2000 rpm, 63% torque, 43 gph fuel flow,
TAS: 279 kts

All speeds in flight level 280 (28000 ft ,ISA+5 Conditions)
MT-Propeller: 2000 rpm, 92% torque, 60 gph fuel flow,
TAS: 321 kts,
OEM TBM900 Propeller: 2000 rpm, 92% torque, 60 gph fuel flow,
TAS: 321 kts
MT-Propeller: 2000 rpm, 65% torque, 45 gph fuel flow,
TAS: 282 kts,
OEM TBM900 Propeller: 2000 rpm, 65% torque, 45 gph fuel flow,
TAS: 279 kts

All speeds in flight level 260 (26000 ft, ISA+5 Conditions)
MT-Propeller: 2000 rpm, 100% torque, 65 gph fuel flow,
TAS: 325 kts,

OEM TBM900 Propeller: 2000 rpm, 100% torque, 65 gph fuel flow,
TAS: 325 kts

MT-Propeller: 2000 rpm, 65% torque, 46 gph fuel flow,
TAS: 273 kts,
OEM TBM900 Propeller: 2000 rpm, 65% torque, 46 gph fuel flow,
TAS: 273 kts

The outside noise is reduced from 77,9 db(A) down to 75 db(A)
with the MT-Propeller.
This makes a reduction in noise intensity of 50%.

The cabin noise in climb and cruise is reduced by 1.5 dB(A)
which is a noise intensity of 30% less.

The weight of the MT-Propeller is 18lbs less than the
standard OEM TBM900 Propeller.
The moment of inertia creating engine loads and bending
moments on the engine crankshaft is with the
MT-Propeller 4,96 kgm²
OEM TBM900 Propeller 7,06 kgm²

Therefore MT-Propeller reduces the loads on the engine mounts,
engine by 42 percent resulting also in lower vibration during operation.

The MT-Propeller has a smaller diameter by 2.5 inch compared to the
OEM TBM900 Propeller which reduces the possibility of an FOD a lot.

Summarized it can be said, lower weight, lower vibration, lower inside /
outside noise with the same performance and more comfort makes the
MT an excellent choice for the TBM Series aircraft
