EASA STC for 4-blade MTV-14 MT-Propeller on Cirrus SR22T
MT-Propeller Entwicklung GmbH received the EASA STC 10089430 for the installation of the scimitar 4-blade MTV-14-D/195-30( ) propeller on the Cirrus Model SR22T powered by a Lycoming TSIO-550-K engine. As an option fluid De-Ice Boots can be installed.

The 3400 lbs Version is already certified by EASA STC 10038566 R6. The FAA and TCCA STCs are in progress.

MT-Propeller Vice President Martin Albrecht says that the installation features the following advantages:

  • The 3.600 and 3.400 lbs versions comply with the strict German Noise Regulation “Landeplatz Lärmschutz Verordnung” for unrestricted airport operations in Germany and other European Countries ().

MT-Propeller was founded in 1980 by Gerd Muehlbauer, who had already 20 years of experience in propeller development and service at this time. He started his new own company on January 2nd 1981 at the Airport Straubing-Wallmuehle (EDMS) in Germany with 6 employees in a small, one-storey airport owned building.
