The MTV-12-D/188-53( ) MT-Propeller has about 8 kg (17.6 lbs) less weight than the original propeller, unlimited blade life and increases the cruise speed of the Piper PA-28R(T)-201 by 2-3 kts.

During the three-day training, all updates and changes since the last training in 2024 were discussed and explained in detail to ensure that all service centers are up to date and can provide the best possible service to the highly valued MT-Propeller customers.
All participants appreciated the training content presented by Martin Albrecht and regretted that this exciting time had passed so quickly.

Due to this revision, the 3-blade MTV-9 propeller can now be installed on the Slingsby Models T67M260 Firefly and T67M200 Firefly powered by the engines AEIO-540-D4A5 (T67M260) and AEIO-360-A1E, AEIO-360-A1E6 (T67M200).

The installation of the 2-blade MT-Propeller on the Diamond DV20 and DA20-A1 provides best vibration damping characteristics for almost vibration free propeller operations and fulfills the highest noise level regulations according to the strict German Noise Regulations 2010 for unrestricted airport operations in Germany and other European countries.

The electric controlled MTV-18 has a weight of about 20kg (44lbs) and a diameter between 152cm (59.8in) and 203cm (79.9in).
The MTV-18 can be used on piston engines with max. countinous power of 168kw (225.1hp) with a max. continous speed of 2800rpm for a propeller diameter of 152cm (59.8in) - 192cm (75.6in) and for piston engines with max. countinous power of 224kw (300.2hp) and max. continous speed of 2700rpm for a propeller diameter of 152cm (59.8in) - 203cm (79.9in).
The 3-blade MTV-18 propeller can be installed on aircraft like the Cessna (F)172N,-P, Beech B23,C23 and Piper PA28-180,-181 for increased performance and less weight compared to the original metal propeller.

The installation of the 3-blade MTV-18 on the Beech B23, C23 provides an increased ground clearance for less blade tip erosion, a shorter take-off distance and a horter ground roll distance.

The propeller hub and blade combination has been proven in service with more than 3,000 Avia propeller systems, especially operated in remote areas, and its weight is not higher than the standard aluminum propellers certified for this application. The MT-Propeller group integrated Avia Propeller in 1999 and successfully manufactures propeller systems for the LET-410 aircraft and AG systems, while Avia Propeller is approaching more than 20,000 manufactured governors and controls for piston and turbine applications.

The 4-blade MTV-16 on the Cessna 404 provides an enhanced take-off distance and climb and an increased cruise performance. The 4-blade MT-Propellers have approximately 4 lbs less weight than the original propellers.

The 3-blade MTV-9 on the PA-28-235 provides an enhanced climb performance by approximately 5%, an enhanced cruise performance by 2 to 3 kts and a significant inside and outside noise reduction.

This installation is also supplemental type certified by EASA, FAA and AFAC Mexico.
The 4-blade MTV-14 on the Cirrus SR22 provides an enhanced climb performance and shorter take-off distance, increased static thrust and complies with the strict German Noise regulations.

After reaching another milestone with 130 flying Silent-7 propellers, several propellers were inspected based on the certification requirements after 2,000 hours in service. The propellers showed basically no wear or abnormalities.
Due to these excellent inspection results, the engineering team at MT-Propeller was able to increase the TBO for the 7-bladed propellers - presently installed on the Pilatus PC-12 series, the King Air 350 series and the Short Skyvan - to 3,600 hours or 6 years, whichever comes first.

MT-Propeller received the FAA STC No. SA12044IB6 for the installation of the 4-blade MT-Propeller MTV-14-D-C-F/CF188-30 on the Cessna 414A (Ram IV and Ram VII) powered by two Teledyne Continental Motors TSIO-520-N, -NB or TSIO-520-NB engines modified per FAA STC SE4327SW, SE09104SC or SE091261SC.
This installation is also supplemental type certified by EASA.
The 4-blade MTV-14 on the Cessna 414 provides a shorter take-off distance, enhanced climb performance, increased cruise performance and approximately 20 lbs less weight than the original propellers.

MT-Propeller received the Letter of Acceptance of the EASA STC No. 10036196 for the installation of the 5-blade Quiet Fan Jet Propeller MTV-27-1-E-C-F-R(P)/CFR225-55f on the Hawker Beechcraft King Air 200 Series powered by the Pratt & Whitney P&WC PT6A-41, -42, -52 and -61 propeller turbines.
The installation of the 5-blade propeller on the King Air 200 provides a general performance improvement - 5% take-off and climb, 3 kts cruise with 1800 rpm - and a significant inside and outside noise reduction. The propellers for the Beech KA200 have approximately 25 lbs less weight than the original 4-blade propellers with aluminum blades, and there are no propeller speed restrictions on ground while operating in low idle.

MT-Propeller received the Letter of Acceptance of the EASA STC No. 10050861 for the installation of the 5-blade Quiet Fan Jet Propeller MTV-27-1-(E,N)-C-F-R(P)/CFR260-65b on the Hawker Beechcraft Beech 300, 300LW, B300 and B300C powered by the Pratt & Whitney P&WC PT6A-60A/67A propeller turbines.
The installation provides a general performance improvement (8% take-off and climb, 4-5 kts cruise) and more ground clearance for less FOD. There are no propeller speed restrictions on ground while operating in low idle, and the inside and outside noise is significantly reduced.

MT-Propeller received the ANAC Brazil STC #2025S03-21 for the installation of the 5-blade MTV-27-1-E-C-F-R(G)/CFRL250-103 on the M7 Aerospace models SA226-T(B), SA227-TT, -AC, -AT, -CC, -BC and -DC powered by the TPE331-10U, TPE331-11U, TPE331-12UA, TPE331-12UAR and TPE331-12UHR engines. This installation is also supplemental type certified by EASA, FAA, TCCA Canada, DGAC Mexico and INAC Venezuela.
This installation provides a reduced ground roll and take-off distance, less weight than the original propellers and more ground clearance.


The engine upgrade of the Piper M500 Meridian by MT-Propeller, which was presented at last year's Aero, has now also received the FAA approval in addition to the EASA approval.
The replacement of the original PT6A-42A propeller turbine with a PT6A-135A propeller turbine follows MT-Propeller's declared goal of making General Aviation aircraft quieter and more efficient with new propeller systems - in the case of the Piper M500 Meridian with the additional replacement of the engine.

MT-Propeller received the EASA STC #10085161 and FAA STC #SA11914IB for the installation of the high performance 7-blade Silent Seven MT-Propeller MTV-47-1-( )-C-F-R(P)/CFR260-361( ) on the Textron Aviation Inc. Beech King Air 300, 300LW, B300 and B300C.
The installation of the 7-blade MT-Propeller provides a performance improvement of 8% in take-off and 4-5 kts in cruise, more ground clearance, lower ITTs at high altitude and a significant cabin noise and vibration reduction. All models comply with the strict German Noise Regulations 2010 for unrestricted airport operations in Germany and other European countries.

The installation of the 3-blade MT-Propeller provides best vibration damping characteristics for almost vibration free propeller operations and more ground clearance for less blade tip erosion. The 3-blade MT-Propeller has up to 7 kg (15 lbs) less weight than the original propeller.

This STC is already certified by EASA and TCCA Canada.
The installation of the 2-blade MT-Propeller complies with the enhanced German Noise Regulation "Erhöhter Schallschutz". The MT-Propeller has bonded on stainless steel leading edge for best erosion protection of the blades, an unlimited blade life and FOD repairable blades

After a construction period of about two years, MT-Propeller has now opened three new buildings with a total of about 8,000 sqm (86,000 sqft), in order to further increase its production and service capacities due to the continuous growth in orders and new developments.
All metal parts for MT-Propellers can now be manufactured at the headquarters, providing short transport distances and greater flexibility. A new aircraft hangar provides additional space for direct installation of propellers on customer aircraft, and the new buildings also increase sales, spare parts and shipping capacity, as well as areas for the training of the MT-Propeller staff and the worldwide service stations.
In total, MT-Propeller now operates six buildings with a total of 15000 sqm (161000 sqft) at Straubing Airport, plus the composite blade production facility (4 km) 6 miles from the airport with a further 5000 sqm (54000 sqft).
When Gerd Muehlbauer started MT-Propeller in 1981 with 5 employees, the company was located in one small airport building which is still part of the company today. Over the last 43 years, the company has grown into a world leader in high performance aircraft propellers with 280 employees at the headquarters in Germany and additional places in the Czech Republic and the USA.

AFAC Mexico validated the EASA STC 10038566 R5 for installing the 4-blade MTV-14-D/195-30( ) on the Cirrus SR22 powered by TCM IO-550 including turbo and supercharged engines.
This installation provides turbine-smooth, vibration free propeller operations, improved engine cooling, enhanced climb performance and a shorter take-off distance (2700 RPM version only).

INAC Venezuela accepted the FAA STC SA03209NY for installing the 5-blade MTV-27-1-E-C-F-R(P)/CFR225-55f on the Hawker Beechcraft King Air 200 Series powered by P&WC PT6A-41, -42, -52 and -61 propeller turbines.
This installation provides a general performance improvement (5% take-off and climb, 3 kts cruise with 1800 rpm), approximately 25 lbs less weight than the original 4-blade propellers with aluminum blades, and there are no propeller speed restrictions on ground while operating in low idle.


In Bavaria, home of many world-known corporations like Audi, BMW and Siemens, as well as 600,000 mid-sized companies, the Bavarian Minister of Economic Affairs, Hubert Aiwanger, awarded the "BAVARIA'S BEST 50" prize for the 23rd time on the 24th of July to the 50 fastest growing mid-sized companies in Bavaria.
The award honours companies which have achieved above-average growth in sales and number of employees over the past five years.
Founded in 1981 by Gerd Muehlbauer, the Atting-based company has since become the world's number 1 in the development and manufacture of natural composite propellers for aircraft, hovercraft and wind tunnels. A total of 285 people work for the company at its three facilities in Germany, the Czech Republic and the USA. MT-Propeller is honoured for the first time in the company's history and is therefore especially proud, as an aviation company, to achieve this award, which also strengthens the Bavarian aerospace region.

MT-Propeller received the EASA STC 10054488 REV. 1 for the Cessna 208 Caravan Model 208 and 208B powered by the Honeywell TPE331-12JR propeller turbine with the 5-blade MTV-27 MT-Propeller. With this revision, the Cessna 208 with the 5-blade MT-Propeller is now certified for a power rating up to 950 shp. The revision of the FAA STC is in progress.
The installation of the MTV-27 on the Cessna 208 provides 60% vibration reduction on the aircraft fuselage, a reduced ground roll by approximately 10% and about 14 kg (31 lbs) less weight than the original propeller.

MT-Propeller received the AFAC Mexico STC for the installation of the 3-blade MTV-9-D/203-52 on the Cessna 182, -A, -B, -C, -D, -E, -F, -G, -H, -J, -K, -L, -M, -N, -P and F182P powered by the TCM O-470-L, O-470-R or O-470-S engines.
The installation provides best vibration damping characteristics and a significant inside and outside noise reduction.

On the 1st day of the AERO, the MT-Propeller EASA STC for the installation of the PT6A-135A engine in the Piper Meridian was officially handed over by Mr. Marco Capaccio, Small Aircraft, Balloons & Airships Section Manager at the European Union Aviation Safety Agency, to Josef Eberl, MT-Propeller Chief Engineer and Test Pilot, and Martin Albrecht, MT-Propeller General Manager and Test Pilot.
As the leader in propeller design and the only company that holds more than 220 STCs to install the most modern MT-Propellers with up to 7 blades, the engineers and test pilots decided to take the next step and not only certify a more efficient propeller but also combine it with a more efficient engine, replacing the Piper Meridian's original PT6A-42A engine with a PT6A-135A engine. The FAA STC is in progress.

The popular 7-bladed MTV-47 MT-Propeller "The Silent 7" is now approved for even shorter take-off distances to further increase the operational capability of the PC-12, through EASA STC 10014953 R6 and FAA STC SA02742NY.
An AFMS with details on the take-off performance is available from MT-Propeller.

MT-Propeller Entwicklung GmbH Germany again invited its international Service Centers to join the biennial MT-Training Session from 4 to 7 February 2024, where all new products and changes since the last training in 2022 were introduced.
39 approved MT-Propeller Service Centers from 11 countries, with a total of 100 trainees, followed the invitation and successfully attended the training on this technical content.
Traditionally, the training was again held at Daytona Beach, Florida. MT-Propeller Vice President, Test Pilot and Engineer, Martin Albrecht, guided the interested audience through the 3-day training.

MT-Propeller received the EASA STC 10050861 R5 for the installation of the 5-blade MTV-27 Propellers on the Beech King Air 300 / 350.
The installation of the 5-blade MT-Propeller has no propeller speed restrictions and provides significant cabin noise and vibration reduction. It offers more ground clearance for less FOD and lower ITTs during start-up for less engine wear.

The installation of the 5-blade MT-Propellers provides a shorter take-off distance by approximately 5% (SL, ISA conditions), enhanced climb by up to 3% (SL, ISA conditions), cruise performance increased by approximately 5 kts and a reduced weight by approximately 52 lbs compared to the original propeller.

MT-Propeller received the TCCA Canada STC SA23-68 for the installation of the 2-blade MTV-21 Propeller on the Diamond DV20, DA20-A1 with the Rotax 912S3. This installation is already certified by EASA STC 10014238 R2.
The installation of the 2-blade constant speed propeller complies with the enhanced German Noise Regulation "Erhöhter Schallschutz".

The MTV-34-1-A/175-200 for Ultra Light Aircraft (UL) or Light Sport Aircraft (LSA) is now type certified by the Indonesian Directorate General of Civil Aviation.
This 3-bladed propeller is a high performance, low weight, hydraulic constant speed or ground adjustable composite propeller for the Rotax 912/914 and Rotax 915iS series engines.

The new 4-bladed MT-Propeller is certified for use on the Twin Mustang F82, where it was initially installed, but it can also be installed on the P-51.

MT-Propeller received the AFAC Mexico STC no. IA936/2023 for the installation of the 4-blade MTV-14 MT-Propeller on the Cessna 335 / 340.
The 4-blade MTV-14-D-C-F/CF188-30g propeller provides a shorter take-off distance by approximately 3% (MTOW, SL, ISA conditions), enhanced climb by approximately 5% to 8%, increased cruise performance by approximately 3 to 5 kts and approximately 20 lbs less weight than the original propellers.

MT-Propeller received the ANAC Brazil STC 2023S08-11 for the installation of the 5-blade MTV-27 MT-Propeller on the Piper PA-46-350P (Malibu Mirage) powered by P&WC propeller turbines.
The 5-blade MTV-27-1-E-C-F-R(P)/CFR203-58d propeller provides a general performance improvement (10% shorter take-off distance, 10% better climb performance, 3 kts faster in cruise), approximately 3 lbs less weight than the original metal propeller and a cooler ITT on ground with the condition lever at low and high idle position.


The installation is already certified by EASA #10081080.
The installation provides a TBO of 4500 hours or 6 years, whatever comes first, for low maintenance costs. There are no intermediate inspections needed between the TBO which requires the propeller removal and there are no rpm restriction for the complete operational range.


The world's first 7-blade propeller is now installed on 75 Pilatus PC-12 aircraft in Europe and the USA.
he installation of The Silent 7 MT-Propeller on the Pilatus PC-12 sets new limits for certain applications, exceeding the performance of 5-blade propellers.

- a very low jet-like noise level both in the cabin and outdoors
- a very smooth operation.
The Pilatus PC-12 STC with The Silent 7 MT-Propeller meets the highest noise regulations in European countries for unrestricted airport operations.
In April 2023, the STC for the Pilatus PC-12 combined with the 7-blade MTV-47 propeller was again updated to reflect the improvement in certified performance in the AFMS, reducing the required take-off length by approximately 20% compared to the original certified data. Already converted PC-12 aircraft can receive the latest certified performance range of MT propellers.

MT-Propeller natural composite blades have been a success since they were first built.
Because of their natural composite construction, they are much lighter than aluminum propeller systems, have a higher vibration dampening coefficient compared to foam core composite blades.
By this they also reduce vibration because the composite material does not support harmonics. No restricted rpm ranges, red bands for those blades on certified installations. Those blades have an unlimited blade life, because they can be brought back to the exact factory dimensions during overhaul. Even after a ground strike the blade tips can be rebuilt to the new original dimensions.
The first MT-Propeller blades manufactured in year 1981 are still in service.
Their light weight makes it possible to add more blades to a propeller system, which means that 3-blade conversions, for example, can run more quietly than large 2-blade systems, and in addition, smaller propeller arc disks have less drag than larger diameter propeller arc disks. Even 7-bladed propellers for turboprops are now available with lower loads on the engine during operation, compared to classic propeller systems.
This makes MT propellers the first choice for many aircraft owners and aerobatic pilots.
MT propeller blades are also the best choice for wind tunnels, airships and hovercraft.

The flight tests were performed with a 5-bladed Quiet Fan Jet MTV-27 Propeller, the propeller is already certified on the original Piper Meridian and can be used also – if already installed – on this conversion.
Maintenance cost will be reduced by installing the new engine.
Changing the engine family from the mid-size category to the small-size, makes an impressive difference for the operating cost.
Direct cost per mileage will be similar to the PA46- 350P Lycoming-powered Mirage, but with a top speed of up to 260 KTAS @ 30,000 ft. EASA certification is planned for second quarter of 2024 with the FAA STC following.

MT-Propeller received the amendment of the FAA STC for the installation of the MTV-27-1( )-C-F-R(P)-J/CFR300-82( ) Propeller on the Airtractor AT-802() with an engine power of up to 1700 SHP. This STC is already certified by EASA 10072601 R1.
This STC provides an improved take-off, has a TBO of 4500 hours or 6 years and requires no intermediate inspections.

MT-Propeller is delivering the propellers for Helicopters called Rotors as well as the Hydraulic Actuation System.

The installation provides a TBO of 4500 hours or 6 years, whatever comes first, for low maintenance costs. There are no intermediate inspections needed between the TBO which requires the propeller removal and there are no rpm restriction for the complete operational range.

This installation is already certified by EASA, FAA and TCCA Canada.
The 5-blade MT-Propeller for the Beech 1900 has a smaller diameter of about 8 inch compared to the original 4-blade propeller, this means more ground clearance of about 4 inch for less FOD and also more clearance to the fuselage.
It also provides a propeller noise reduction by up to 5 dB(A) and therefore a significant inside and outside noise reduction.
The TBO for the MTV-27 on the Beech 1900 is 4500 hours or 6 years, whatever comes first, and no intermediate inspections are needed between the TBO which requires apropeller removal.

The installation of the 4-blade MTV-14 Propeller on the Cessna ()210() significantly reduces the noise, so that the aircraft can be operated also in Switzerland in the lowest noise category.

On a Piper PA31T1 equipped with P&W PT6A-135A propeller turbines, the World’s first 11-bladed aircraft propeller took the sky with an impressive noise and sound signature.
The very promising results in static thrust, 15% increase over the standard certified 5-bladed propeller, and the jet-noise signature showed another time what could be possible in the propeller developments.
This aircraft propeller system combined with a low rpm power supply from a turbine or an electric engine opens new possibilities for performance, efficiency and noise.

The installation of the 5-blade MT-Propeller on the MU-2B dramatically reduces the inside noise by up to 8 dB(A) and reduces also the propeller weight.

The installation of the 5-blade MT-Propeller on the Cessna 206 improves cruise performance by up tp 6-8 KTAS and complies with the German noise regulations 2010.

The installation provides a general performance improvement - 10% shorter take-off distance, 4% better climb Performance, 3 kts faster in cruise. It has approx. 3 lbs less weight than the original metal propeller and more advantages.

The MTV-12 has 10kg less weight compared to the original propeller and provides cooler CHTs by up to 35°C (95°F)

Representatives from 50 propeller shops, representing 14 countries and 5 provinces, for a total of 97 individuals, successfully attended the training sessions on technical content, new products and customer service, which where held by MT-Propeller Vice President, Test Pilot and Engineer Martin Albrecht.

The installation of the 2-blade or 3-blade Propeller provides less weight, increased cruise and enhanced climb performance. Both Propeller models reduce inside and outside noise signigicantly.
They are also supplemental type certified by EASA, FAA and INAC Venezuela.

His route led from Ontario where he departed on December 8, 2019 to Honolulu, HI - Jakarta, Indonesia - Cape Town, South Africa - San Juan, PR - back to Ontari, where he landed on December 15, 2019.
He had to stop only 4 times.
The unofficial countdown timer was stopped with 19hrs 28min to spare compared to the 58 year old world record.
