Columbian STC for Beech 1900 series with 5-blade MT-Propellers
MT-Propeller received the Acceptance of the EASA STC 10070090 from Aeronautica Civil Colombia for the installation of the MTV-27 Propeller on the Beech 1900 .
This installation is already certified by EASA, FAA and TCCA Canada.
The 5-blade MT-Propeller for the Beech 1900 has a smaller diameter of about 8 inch compared to the original 4-blade propeller, this means more ground clearance of about 4 inch for less FOD and also more clearance to the fuselage.
It also provides a propeller noise reduction by up to 5 dB(A) and therefore a significant inside and outside noise reduction.
The TBO for the MTV-27 on the Beech 1900 is 4500 hours or 6 years, whatever comes first, and no intermediate inspections are needed between the TBO which requires apropeller removal.
